Information Update - August 31, 2005

Both teams met in the afternoon and the union negotiation team agreed to a discussion of the post tenure review process. As with the previous day’s discussion, no specific proposals were approved. The discussion was fruitful and facilitated a clearer understanding of each team’s perspectives.

Near the end of the meeting, the management negotiation team proposed nine additional meeting dates. The union negotiation team took the dates under consideration but did not immediately agree to any of the dates presented. The management negotiation team reiterated its wish to continue bargaining with the UEA and reach agreement on a new contract for the Crookston faculty.
