Faculty of the University of Minnesota, Crookston (UMC) have formed
a bargaining unit called the United Education Association–Crookston
(UEA-C). The University of Minnesota's faculty have drafted a
constitution and elected leaders to represent them during the
negotiation process.
Contract
negotiations between the University of Minnesota and the University
Education Association-Crookston are scheduled to begin on August
11, 2005 on the Crookston campus. Like the planning and design
work, these negotiations will help shape the future of UMC, so
everyone has a stake in the outcome.
The
University of Minnesota , Crookston (UMC) is one of four campuses
in the University of Minnesota land grant system. UMC is
a coordinate campus that provides a unique approach through applied
and polytechnic baccalaureate education, research, and service.
